The VideDoorPhone does not turn on.

  • The adaptor is not connected to the electrical network.
    • Plug the supplied adaptor at the back of the indoor unit, respecting the polarity + -.
    • Plug the supplied adaptor to the electrical network.
  • The adaptor is not connected to the back of the indoor unit.
    • Plug the supplied adaptor at the back of the indoor unit respecting the polarity + -.
    • Plug the supplied adaptor to the electrical network.

No audio / vidéo communication on indoor unit.

  • The power is not connected.
    • Check the electrical connection and the polarity (+ -) of the supplied adaptor on the indoor unit.
  • The indoor unit and the outdoor unit are not connected correctly.
    • Check the connections between indoor unit and outdoor unit
    • .Connector n°1 from the indoor unit has to be connected to the connector n°1 of the outdoor unit.
    • Connector n°2 from the indoor unit has to be connected to the connector n°2 of the outdoor unit.
  • The cable section used between the indoor unit and outdoor unit is not suitable.
    • Check the section of the cable which must be at least 1.5mm2.

Image quality is poor.

  • The indoor unit and the outdoor unit are not connected correctly.
    • Check the connections of the indoor unit and outdoor unit and ensure that connecting wires are not touching each other.
  • The cable section used between the indoor unit and outdoor unit is not suitable.
    • Check the section of the cable which must be at least 1.5mm2.
  • The cable between indoor unit and outdoor unit is too close to sources of electromagnetic interferance.
    • Use a separate sheath for the cable between the indoor unit and outdoor unit.

    • Use the connectors n° 3 (LK+) and n°4 (LK-) from the outdoor unit for connecting the electric strike.
  • The cable section used between the electric strick and outdoor monitor is not suitable.
    • Check the cable section specified in the manual of the electric strike.
  • The electric strike is not suitable for the VideDoorPhone.
    • Use only a DC electric strike up to 12V - 0,5A.
    • VideoDoorPhone is not compatible with electric strike with a 12V - 2,5 A, except if the dipswitch is at the back of the outdoor unit.
    • VideoDoorPhone is not compatible with AC electric strike.

The open gate does not work.

  • The automated gate is not connected correctly to the outdoor unit.
    • Check the connections between automated gate and outdoor unit.
    • Use the connectors n° 5 (SW1) and n°6 (SW2) from the outdoor unit for connecting the electric strike.
  • The cable section used between the automated gate and outdoor monitor is not suitable.
    • Check the cable section specified in the manual of the automated gate.
  • The automated gate is not suitable for the VideDoorPhone.
    • VideoDoorPhone use a dry contact for controlling the automated gate.
